These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of CVTara (cvtara.com) and its resume, cover-letter, ATS-match and application-tracking tools. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use CVTara.

1. About the service

CVTara is operated from Bangalore, India by the CVTara team ("CVTara", "we", "us"). We provide software and guidance to help you prepare job applications. We are not a recruitment agency, we do not place candidates, and we do not guarantee interviews, offers, salary outcomes or ATS scores with any employer.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when you register. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@cvtara.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Plans and payment

Access to downloads and plan features is provided through paid plans and add-on packs shown on our pricing page. Prices are in Indian rupees and are charged once for the stated access period. Plans do not renew automatically. Payments are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay); we never see or store your full card details. Access starts when payment is verified and ends when the access period ends. Add-on packs are available only while a plan is active and end when the plan ends.

4. Your content

You own the resumes, cover letters and other content you create. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content only to operate the service for you. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit and for making sure it does not infringe anyone else's rights. We do not claim ownership of your documents.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unlawful, misleading or fraudulent content, no false claims about your experience or qualifications, no attempts to break or overload the platform, no scraping, no sharing paid access with others, and no abuse of referral or reward programmes. We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. Referral programme

If the referral programme is available to you, rewards are subject to the rules shown in your account, including eligibility, holding periods and payout checks. We may reverse rewards linked to refunded, disputed or fraudulent purchases.

7. Intellectual property

The CVTara name, logo, templates, software and guide content belong to CVTara or its licensors. Templates are licensed for creating your own documents, not for resale or redistribution.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep CVTara available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may improve, change or retire features, and we will update these Terms when needed. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimers and liability

CVTara is provided "as is". Guidance and calculators are for general information and are not legal, tax or financial advice; please verify important decisions with a qualified professional or the official source. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the plan in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. No refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable, as set out in our No-Refund Policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.
