Choosing between them
Pick the most accurate one. Guaranteed and Secured are strong when you can show a result; maintained or verified suit plainer lines. Put the word at the start of the line, follow it with the task and a measurable result, and avoid using any one word more than twice on a page.
Frequently asked questions
Is “ensure” a bad word for a resume?
Not bad, but often vague. A more specific word such as guaranteed, plus a result, reads stronger.
Can I use these words in a cover letter?
Yes. The same rule applies: be specific and give proof.
Will these words help with an applicant tracking system?
Matching depends mostly on skills and job titles. Strong verbs help the person who reads your resume next.
